 OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) – More and more people are holding virtual meetings as a way to socially distance while at work.

Unfortunately, it turned into a disturbing encounter for one Oklahoma City law firm.

An affidavit shows the law firm set up a Q&A session via Zoom back in May, which was open to the public.

Someone named “Christine” joined the meeting and starting showing graphic video of a man sexually assaulting a child.

The meeting was then stopped and Oklahoma City police and Zoom started investigating the incident.

Focus Marketing Owner Patrick Allmond says “Zoom bombing” has changed since this incident happened.

“It was pretty easy. It really was and fortunately, Zoom has hopped on this and it’s gotten harder and harder. I think it still might be possible,” Patrick Allmond said.

Online video apps like Zoom are catching on to these so called “Zoom bombers” and adding more protections.

YouTube to boost security at its offices worldwide after shooting

It’s no surprise, Youtube is amping up their security at their offices, just as they are amping up their efforts at snuffing out gun-related videos. All part of the problem-reaction-solution tactic.

Google said Thursday that it will boost security in YouTube offices globally after the shooting at the video platform's headquarters earlier this week.

On Tuesday, Nasim Najafi Aghdam shot at least three people before dying from a self-inflicted gun shot wound.

Google, which owns YouTube, put out a statement on Twitter Thursday in which it called the shooting "shocking and disturbing" and praised the "heroic acts" of employees and the San Bruno community, where the shooting took place.

The company said that the shooter entered the headquarters through the building's parking garage to the outside courtyard where the shooting took place.

Google said that YouTube employees have been encouraged to take time off of work or work from home and the company is making wellness services available.

YouTube will be increasing the security at its offices globally.

Florida's new gun-control laws prompts man’s firearms to be seized

Take the new gun law in Florida and couple it with the Baker Act (Florida Mental Health Act) and you’ll end up with people disarmed because of the idea that they may pose a danger to themselves or others – sounds like the thought police at work. - FUA

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. - A Broward County judge on Friday issued what is thought to be Florida's first order temporarily removing guns from a person under Florida's new gun-control laws.

Four firearms and 267 rounds of ammunition were ordered removed from a 56-year-old Lighthouse Point man who experts determined was a potential risk to himself or others.

The guns and ammunition have been temporarily removed from the man under the state's new "risk protection" law, which is also sometimes called "red flag" legislation, Lighthouse Point City Attorney Michael Cirullo confirmed.

Although the man was also taken to a hospital for involuntary psychiatric treatment under the state's Baker Act, the civil ruling removing his access to guns and ammunition was granted under the new legislation, which permits removal of guns from people who have not been committed but are deemed a potential risk to themselves or others, according to the order signed by Broward's Chief Judge Jack Tuter.

"We know it's the first case of its kind in Broward County and we think it's the first one in Florida, under the new law," Cirullo said. "Up until the introduction of this law last week, there was no process for us to protect the public in this kind of situation."

Before now, officials who attempted to remove guns from a person they thought was a danger could be removed from office and fined up to $5,000, he said.

Lighthouse Point police made the request on March 14, one week after they were called to his apartment building to conduct a welfare check on the man, who they said was behaving strangely. Authorities said it was the latest in a series of encounters law enforcement had with the man, though he has no history of arrests in Florida.

Police were called after the man turned off the main electrical breakers to the apartment building, court records show.

The man told officers he "was being targeted and burglarized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and a neighbor who lives in (his) building," the judge wrote in his order. "(He) could not describe the neighbor but stated that the neighbor 'shape shift, he can change heights and I'm not sure where he comes from' and 'to be honest, he looks like Osama Bin Laden.'"

He also told officers that he had to turn off the electrical breakers because "they are electrocuting me through my legs."

Officers said they saw weapons in his home after they were called to check on his welfare. They also found evidence he had "a voluminous amount of notes containing numerous references to former President Barack Obama, that he was killed in the 1980s but came back and now murders children to place their spirits into (the man's) head, is a member of (al-Qaida), and is (the man's) enemy," the judge wrote in his order.

Nearly 400 children have been rescued and 348 adults arrested following an expansive and “extraordinary” international child pornography investigation, Canadian police announced Thursday.

The three-year project, named Project Spade, began when undercover officers with the Toronto Police Service Child Exploitation service made contact with a Toronto man allegedly sharing “very graphic images” of child sexual abuse in Oct. 2010, Toronto Police Service Chief William Blair said at a press conference on Thursday.

Police said their investigation revealed an entire child movie production and distribution company in Toronto operating via the web site azovfilms.com.

The site was run by 42-year old Brian Way, according to police, and sold and distributed images of child exploitation to people across the world.

Inspector Joanna Beaven-Desjardins, head of Toronto’s Sex Crimes Unit, said they enlisted the help of the United States Postal Inspection Service since many of the videos were being exported to the U.S. and began a joint investigation.

After a seven-month long investigation, officers executed search warrants across the city of Toronto including at the business, located in the city’s West End.

Investigators catalogued hundreds of thousands of images and videos of “horrific sexual acts against very young children, some of the worst they have ever viewed,” Inspector Beaven-Desjardins said at the press conference.

Police seized over 45 terabytes of data from the $4-million business that distributed to over 50 counties including Australia, Spain, Mexico, Sweden and Greece.

As a result of the investigation thus far, 50 people were arrested in Ontario, 58 in the rest of Canada, 76 in the United States, and 164 internationally

Obama On Planned Parenthood Shooting: 'We Can't Let It Become Normal'

When Obama keeps saying that these shootings are not to be considered normal, it is only a matter of time for the stage to be set for gun confiscations and bans in America. - FUA

President Barack Obama released a statement Saturday morning addressing Friday's mass shooting at a Colorado Springs branch of Planned Parenthood, which left three dead, including a police officer, and nine injured.

Striking an all-too-familiar theme of his presidency, Obama focused on the scourge of gun violence. Read the whole thing below:

The last thing Americans should have to do, over the holidays or any day, is comfort the families of people killed by gun violence -- people who woke up in the morning and bid their loved ones goodbye with no idea it would be for the last time.

And yet, two days after Thanksgiving, that’s what we are forced to do again.

We don’t yet know what this particular gunman’s so-called motive was for shooting twelve people, or for terrorizing an entire community, when he opened fire with an assault weapon and took hostages at a Planned Parenthood center in Colorado. What we do know is that he killed a cop in the line of duty, along with two of the citizens that police officer was trying to protect.  We know that law enforcement saved lives, as so many of them do every day, all across America.  And we know that more Americans and their families had fear forced upon them.

This is not normal.  We can’t let it become normal.  If we truly care about this -- if we’re going to offer up our thoughts and prayers again, for God knows how many times, with a truly clean conscience -- then we have to do something about the easy accessibility of weapons of war on our streets to people who have no business wielding them.  Period.  Enough is enough.

RENNES, France • A Monsanto research center in western France suffered heavy fire damage in a suspected arson attack early Wednesday morning, the official in charge of the site said.

The official, Jakob Witten, said police investigators "strongly suspect it was a crime as no electrical or other sources were found."

The fire was ignited from two different places at the site, where about 10 people work and which is specialized in corn research. The smell of gasoline lingered near the building, which had heavy damage in its reception hall and offices.

"No Monsanto sites in Europe have so far been the victim of fires of criminal origin, this is unprecedented violence," Witten said.

The Creve Coeur-based company is the frequent target of criticism in France over concerns about genetically modified crops it has developed.

The government said last month it would use a new European opt-out scheme to ensure a ban on the cultivation of GM crops in France remains in place

The scene at the Oregon’s Umpqua Community College where at least ten people were shot dead earlier today was a gun-free zone, ensuring that the victims were left defenseless against the killer.

10 people were killed and 20 injured after the gunman opened fire at the Roseburg college campus. According to authorities, the shooter is now in police custody.

A post on the Umpqua Community College website (which is currently down) outlines the fact that the campus was a gun free zone where even water pistols were banned.

“Possession, use, or threatened use of firearms (including but not limited to BB guns, air guns, water pistols, and paint guns) ammunition, explosives, dangerous chemicals, or any other objects as weapons on college property, except as expressly authorized by law or college regulations, is prohibited.

Possession of knives with a blade longer than 4” is prohibited.

Brandishing weapons is prohibited.

Misuse of personal defensive weapons – e.g., pepper spray, etc. is prohibited. The owner is responsible and accountable for any misuse of these devices.”

In addition, CBS Seattle reports that “Joe Olson, former president of the college, told The Associated Press the school has only one security officer on duty at a time, and that person isn’t armed.”

This means that innumerable responsible people on campus who could have stopped the shooter before he was able to carry out his rampage were prohibited from doing so.

In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, the usual suspects have rushed to call for gun control, again proving themselves unable to wait until the bodies are even cold before exploiting the tragedy to push their political agenda.

Piers Morgan waited barely minutes after news of the shooting broke to begin advocating for restrictions on the Second Amendment.

It has emerged that the suspected shooter who killed nine people in a Charleston, S.C. church last night was recently arrested twice on a drug charge and a trespassing charge.

Researchers familiar with the patterns of high profile shootings in the US will immediately be asking if 21 year old Dylann Storm Roof was a user of SSRI drugs which have been linked to many cases of mass murder and suicides.

WISTV reports that public records show Roof was most recently arrested in March in Lexington County on drug charges.

The Lexington County Sheriff’s Department told reporters that Roof was booked in the detention center on February 28 and again on April 26 after being arrested by the Columbia Police Department.
