Facebook Moves to Ban Private Gun Sales on Its Site and Instagram

With this latest move by Facebook to ban its sales of guns on the site, it's a sign that they are coming for your guns. To maximize control of the population, the NWO will need to create less resistance amongst the population by taking away the incentive for safety and defense. - FUA

Facebook is banning private sales of guns on its flagship social network and on its Instagram photo-sharing service, the company said late Friday.

President Obama, state attorneys general and gun safety groups had increased pressure on the company to stop the flow of Facebook posts and Instagram messages offering guns for sale, often without background checks.

Although Facebook has never been directly involved in gun sales, it has served as a forum for gun sales to be negotiated.

The ban applies to private, person-to-person sales of guns, though not to posts by licensed gun dealers. Facebook already prohibits people from offering marijuana, pharmaceuticals and illegal drugs for sale, and is updating its policy to include guns.

“Over the last two years, more and more people have been using Facebook to discover products and to buy and sell things to one another,” said Monika Bickert, Facebook’s head of product policy, in a statement. “We are continuing to develop, test and launch new products to make this experience even better for people and are updating our regulated goods policies to reflect this evolution.”

Facebook also took steps in 2014 to limit gun sales on its site and on Instagram, including by shielding minors from Facebook pages that advertised guns for sale. At the time, the social network was one of the world’s largest marketplaces for guns. Facebook has 1.59 billion monthly visitors

Homeland Security conceals plans to shut down cell phone service during emergencies

If San Francisco's BART subway authority can shut down cell phone service, so can DHS, not just during a emergency, but due to the element of power. And, they can bring that initiative to American cities everywhere. - FUA

The Supreme Court was asked in a petition to force the government to disclose the US clandestine plan to disable cell service during emergencies.

The case concerns Standard Operating Procedure 303. A federal appeals court in May said the government did not have to release its full contents because the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows the authorities to withhold records if they would "endanger" public safety.

The Electronic Privacy Information Center told the high court's justices Tuesday that the US Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit's decision created a new "catchall provision that can be used in any case involving records related to domestic and national security programs." (PDF)

The privacy group had demanded the documents from the Department of Homeland Security in 2011 following the shuttering of cell service in the San Francisco Bay Area subway system to quell a protest. The Department of Homeland Security refused to divulge the documents associated with SOP 303, which the appeals court described as a "unified voluntary process for the orderly shut-down and restoration of wireless services during critical emergencies such as the threat of radio-activated improvised explosive devices."

Under the direction of the so-called National Security Telecommunications Advisory Committee, SOP 303 allows for the shuttering of wireless networks "within a localized area, such as a tunnel or bridge, and within an entire metropolitan area."

The telecoms have agreed to shutter service when SOP 303 is invoked, but there are no publicly disclosed instances of the measure ever being invoked.

Protests against Monsanto held in Argentina

Monsanto is being exposed and known to the world, thanks to the Argentinian protesters - FUA

Crowds have taken to the streets of Buenos Aires, to rally against Monsanto and its activities in the rural town of Malvinas Argentinas, where the agro-industrial corporation has been planning to build the world’s biggest maize seed treatment plant.

Demonstrators in the Argentinian capital held banners reading "Monsanto get out", chanted and beat on drums. They wore gas masks symbolizing the dangers of Monsanto’s activities.

Protests were also held in other cities across Argentina. Protesters marched in support of an activists’ camp, which is blocking the Monsanto-owned property in Malvinas Argentinas in the Cordoba region. The camp recently received an eviction notice from the authorities.

A labor appeals court in north-central Argentina ruled two years ago that the construction of a Monsanto plant was unconstitutional. Work on the site was halted.

"Monsanto has for a long time been attempting to install itself in areas illegally, where court decisions have previously blocked the development plan, and has failed with all its political pressure to win a legal method to install its project," environmental lawyer Enrique Viale told RT.
