India is now going after offensive and objectionable materials on the Web about its officials, and content that may pose a threat to national security.
Perhaps a way to silence criticism and prevent those from speaking out against the government and corruption in the region? Speaking of corruption, they still have a anti-corruption bill that is struggling to get passed.
Will the country fall for Chinese/Iranian style censorship, or will the people successfully speak out against it?
